Jan Czarnocki is an experienced lawyer and scholar specializing in digital law, policy and ethics. Jan is a Certified Information Privacy Professional and a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals. He is also a Doctoral Researcher at KU Leuven’s Centre for IT & IP Law, focusing on privacy and biometrics in health and activity tracking. His expertise extends to advising on digital law risks related to privacy, data protection, intellectual property, AI regulation, and intermediary liability.
Jan is an active speaker at international conferences and has a substantial publication record on topics ranging from data protection to the intersection of law and technology. Jan earned his LL.M. from the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, and a Master’s in Law from the University of Warsaw.
